    • Wood End First School, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes.
  • What time is it?
    • 10yrs to 13yrs 18:00 – 19:30.
    • 14yrs to 17yrs 19:30 – 21:00.
  • How much is it?
    • £3 per session paid in advance per half term.
  • Do I need to bring anything along?
    • Just a bottle of water and clothes suitable for indoors and outdoors.

  •  Are you insured?
    • Yes. Mountain Rangers insurance is provided by Birnbeck Insurance Services.
  •  Do all your instructors have CRB / DBS?
    • Yes. All the instructors have enhanced DBS and are cleared to work with children.
  • Can my child come and try it out?
    • Yes.  Every child is welcome to try it out a couple of times before deciding if they want to join. Come along and try a first session for FREE.
  • Is it open to boys and girls?
    • Absolutely.
  • Do they need special equipment?
    • Initially only outdoor clothing they can keep warm and dry in (and get muddy in).
    • We will advise when they might need proper walking boots and waterproofs etc.
  • Do you have a uniform?
    • All members wear a t-shirt with the Mountain Ranger logo (apx £12 for a child’s size).
  • What does the price include?
    • The weekly charge is for the weekly meetings at the hall only.  Other activities and nights away are billed separately.
  • Is this a business?
    • Mountain Rangers is a Community Interest Company run as a not-for-profit enterprise.
  • If my child misses a meeting do I still have to pay?
    • Yes.
  • Are you a religious group?
    • No.  Mountain Rangers has no connections with any faith.  Mountain Rangers respect everyone, equally, irrespective of whether they have a faith or not.
  • Can I come along and help?
    • Yes!  (if your child is OK with it 🙂 )  You will need an up-to-date enhanced DBS to help out regularly and to come on camps.  We can sort this out for you.
    • You don’t need to have a child at Mountain Rangers to help out!
